There are other sometimes easier ways to learn how to optimise Adsense and make an income from your web or hub page content. So this Hub will do just that. This is Cheeky Girl's Video Guide to making money from Google Adsense. I have selected some of the best videos on the net that honestly show you how to do this. The placement and position of Google Adsense on your hub page or website or (blog even!) can make all the difference. Here is a man talking about the changing of placement of his Adsense and how his earnings went way up as a result of that change. This proves there are many ways of presenting adsense on the page and getting better results. The good news is that Hub Pages does a great job of placing our Google Adsense on our pages for us! You will truly appreciate this when you see this video below.

That's because the thrust of what we are talking about is all in the video content, and I hope that you are paying attention and watching them all. Some things that are said you may be surprised at, and yes, I was surprised by the video above and what it says about some certain companies. But it is honest information. As a big fan of the lady who presents some of these videos (she has a successful business online) she is sometimes surprising about how she has made her money online. I cam across this gem about some little so-called "Secrets" behind her success. It's more of a brief history about the way back then times of the beginning of the decade for online earners, and how that compares to the present where ways of earning have changed and and continuing to change. I don't want the videos here to go too far off message, but this is worth checking out as it clears up some myths about Google and things like The Open Directory or DMOZ, as Yahoo call it. I truly hope that you have learned something from these videos on Google Adsense. This Adsense is not impossible to make money from. I am making money from it, and so can you. We all have to start somewhere. Sometimes it can be better sitting and watching people who have already gone out there and made the money and used Google Adsense to boost their income, just so we can learn how it is done. Some of the people in the videos above have had a little extra help in some ways and they share tips. I have become a convert to the Youtube revolution and people have their own "Channels" on there now and they are generating money from it. I do have some cracking vids of Lisa - a well known lady who has her own Youtube channel (and 2 successful websites), and she has a large pile of great videos to learn from. I have been a fan of hers for quite a while now. So I figured, why not make a hub with some of the best Video info for learning all about adsense. It's a fast and easy painless way to learn! Hy Darlene: wrapping around a subject, h'mm - well I presume you mean wrapping text around a subject like a picture or art? Is that what you mean, Darlene? That's easy. If you write a paragraph of text and then put a picture in a picture capsule below it, and the picture is not at full size but at half size or quarter size (you'll see those options when loading a picture into a picture capsule, you can use the capsules green "move" arrows to move the photo or picture up beside the paragraph of text. If there is enough text, the text will wrap around the subject easily. There might be an advert there above or below the art, so that might affect the flow of text a bit.
It's possible to put text alongside existing text and have two paragraphs alongside, and better again, you can have the text on the outside in a coloured box of light blue or grey. I do that in some of my hubs.
Yes, let Google pick the ads, they are best left to their own devices. Yieldbuild does most of this automatically. We don't have much choice over the size of our ads - we can use our options in the edit part of the hub making process to turn off ads - making a hub non commercial. Every now and then I notice ads that might not suit the hub appearing sometimes. I think the ads take their cue from what tags or metatags get put on the page. The hub title and text of the hub can determine how ads appear and what subject they advertise. Dedicating no more than a paragraph at a time to a text capsule means you will see google text ads apearing between paragraphs. Again, Yieldbuild does that for us. There are some hubbers who might be able to insert their own ads on their hub pages, but they have to have special accounts with Google or Amazon to do that. Its easier with Amazon, I think. Hy Ericasky: oh, don't worry. It is easy to learn. There are plenty of writers in Hub Pages already writing great articles on Adsense. Check out TattoGuy and others like him. Making a bit of money income is not a bad thing on the Internet. Practically everyone is doing it with their Blogs or websites or whatever they are doing on the net. And it's a free and easy way to generate some income in the end, it just takes time, that's all. I hope it helps. Cheers!

Hello sweetie: sounds like your adsense is not making a whole lot for you. I wonder do you have any amazon ads on your hubs,and are they earning anything? I don't have any interest in ebay or Kontera, as Kontera just makes some of my hubs seem confusing as Kontera links something of a best-match lottery system. Have you ever thought of having a website or blog? Just wondering if you might get more traffic that way, thus earn more perhaps.

Hello Jashryn: welcome to Hub Pages! I am grateful for the positive feedback here. Seems everyone is looking for good information about Google and how to earn a few bucks (or more) from The Big "G"! It can be done. Some people here including me are earning some dosh from it and from Amazon (or even a few others like Clickbank, but that's another story and another hub) - so you are doing the right thing. It does take time to get to the point where the cash grows to the $100 minimum before they send the first check, but we all have to start somewhere. How do you know that your earnings are coming from Hubs. How does google track it without a channel? All Hubs has is our publisher ID from google. I have had hubs published for 2 years and see no stats anywhere that indicate if I am getting traffic from hubs.
Well THANK YOU - ThAnK YoU - THanK yoU - thANK yOU- I was going to keep on trying to tell you how helpful you have been.You have found a way of making new ways to explain the same thing I just didn't understand.I am the first to say I didn't know how google adsense works or what to do until today.I just started really using the computer this past year.So if you can think back to when you first started just putting writings on the computer was challange enough.Then reading other hubbers articles.Then posting comments.I really didn't know you couldn't get any money at all with Google until you have your own website.I thought having hubs on Hub Pages was enough.I thought they could send your checks to your e-mail accounts.I have only got about 7,000 visitors since I started and now I have a lot of work to do and I am learning so much every day from all the great hubbers on the Hub Pages. My head feels like it is going to explode.I have turned to my friends in WORK AND FAMILY they all say its just another internet scam!!!!I can not wait to prove them wrong with real checks.That cash at any bank.I still need a lot of help and support but at least I am heading in the right direction.Just wanted to say S K N A H T another create way.I know I can do this.It is hard when you get little support.There are to many non believers.Have a great day and may all your dreams be thousands of times the size of mine!

Hello DREAM ON: I am glad you found the hub helpful. The videos do the job wonderfully. I am planning some more hubs like this! I mention my Blogger blog and my website Cheeky Girls Apartment in my profile. I am making money from adsense on both of them as well as Hubs. Just paste the adsense code into the site's html, both Google and Weebly make it easy to do. I even make money from Amazon too, just like here. They all work with adsense and amazon. Why aren't all hubbers doig this. You even get the back links straight to your hubs of choice, more traffic.
I would recommend to set up a free PayPal account, if you get ambitious enough to want to expand your horizons. Never mind the non-believers. I believe people like TattoGuy and Shailini, they are pros at this. Sabreblade has lots of free Blogger blogs and she must be making lots of dosh. Amazon and adsense again. Anything on Blogger can be free and as related to your hub themes as you like, or pay the tener for the dot com name of your choice and get the pro version of blogger. I went pro on weebly.
They even let me privatise pages with password protections.
There is plenty of money out there, ignore the non-believers. Go get some of it, I did. May all your dreams come true for you, my friend. Cheers!
P.s. Amazon let you choose whether to be paid in cash or vouchers to spend on Amazon goodies. Got myself a nice Kindle with my first earnings. :)

Katrina, making money with Google Adsense is not only possible but many people are making an income here in Hub Pages too. It's a terrific way to supplement an income and see some other kind of rewards from our writing efforts. I am very glad you picked up some good info from my hub on making money.

Hello DREAM ON, thanks for checking out the hub again. You really are taking this serious! But then making money from google adsense is a doddle once you got the basics. Even just a few minutes a day is a help. I get emails on all the new Google related affiliates that have done advertising deals with Google. There are hundreds of them now. Do you work another job or is this your main income?Learning what to do is like a full time job.I have work and like so many others when you have only a couple of hours a day to yourself you have to make the right choices.Sometimes you just want to write and tell the world what's on your mind.If I understand it correctly you can only make money if someone clicks on the ads.Not just from viewing your hubs.So say if you had 5,000 visitors a day but no one clicked on your ads then you would not make any money.Thanks for helping me once again.2011 can be fun cand so exciting for everyone!!!
Hy DREAM ON. Gosh yes I have a job in Finance, while this is a web content thing here I do but spread over several blogs and a hefty website. I can only spare so much time on this, if I had more time, I'd have more hubs and thus more income. I read a lot, and get great tips from people I know in social networks and on hub pages.
I use twitter, myspace and Facebook to promote my hubs, and I am trying to finish writing a book too. I am a busy woman. Heh!
There is this strange rule I read somewhere that said people will click on about 10% of your ads. So if you have 100 hubs they will click ads on roughly 10 of the hubs, provided they are relevant and interesting. No one said you have to just have some hubs and nothing else that can bring in income too.
A blog I write gets me income on Adsense and Amazon, as do my hubs here. Blogger.com lets you have adsense and amazon ads there too, just like hub pages. I also got all them on my website, which today got over 160 views in one afternoon, after I gave it a makeover. (Might be some free music I have on it that caused the spike.) I get approx 2000 views a week here, I plan to double that then double it again. I have over 100,000 views here now. More than 70% of my traffic comes from outside Hub Pages. Backlinks get me that traffic.
If you are getting 5000 visitors a day, you must be getting clicks. Using twitter and facebook to promote your hubs, that will get you more visitors again. They are free to have and use, and this year I expect the number of people following me in twitter will surpass the 640 followers in hub pages. "Funnel" all your traffic into your hubs, and watch the money come in slowly but surely. It takes time, but it's well worth it. Yes, making sense of Google Adsense and making money from it can be a shock at first as there is a lot to it. The videos here in my hub explain most of how it works, so just follow the videos and you will be well on the way. I hop you earn good income from your hubs. It will take time and will be slow at first, but over time it will increase.
If you can go beyond just writing hubs, and explore getting new readers into Hub Pages and thus viewing your hubs thanks to backlinking - then all the better. Twitter and Facebook can be very useful, and all hubbers who grow their readership use these.
